No time in Paris is complete without stepping inside the flagship stores carefully curated by the top creative masterminds in design and fashion.
Free to visit and all centrally located within walking distance, here are the three best architectural and interior design marvels that have opened this side of the pandemic.
Destinations in themselves, ensure to add to your itinerary during your weekend or next stay. They are up there with the best museums for modern art and luxury interiors (not to mention the fashion pieces available to purchase should you desire).
1. SAINT LAURENT PARIS, 123 AVENUE DES CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES
The brand synonymous with Paris whose DNA is parisienne chic has now opened the largest flagship store in the world on the best known street in Paris, the Champs-Élysées.
Here at 123 avenue des Champs-Élysées you will be met with a haven completely reflective of Saint Laurent Paris and the vision of creative director Anthony Vaccarello’s, master of design in every way – chic, sleek and a little mysterious.
Concrete, marble and dark wood will encapsulate you as you peruse the brand’s expression of design through physical elements and tactile statements its minimalism in grandiosity measures will not fail to impress.
2. CELINE, 53 AVENUE MONTAIGNE
Hedi Slimane’s bold changes at CELINE have been polarizing since his taking post in 2018. However, no matter the side of the fence you sit, there is not arguing that a visit to the CELINE avenue Montaigne store is a feast for the eyes as despite its harsh, somewhat curved-brutalist matter, each corner draws your eye in deeper and deeper.
With the recent announcement of the brand releasing its first ever beauty line, it may be just the excuse you need to drop by.
3. DIOR, 30 AVENUE MONTAIGNE
Because it deserves a place on any recommendation curation, is not just the boutique, but the UNIVERSE that is Dior Montaigne.
Since the exhibit to end all fashion exhibits that Dior presented in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 2017/18, a vacant place was left in Paris where all the behind-the-scenes courturier craftsmanship and detail, along with those jaw-dropping gowns were no longer displayed to the public.
The solution, a permanent exhibit housed in the Dior Montaigne universe that also includes a café, garden, museum and restaurant.
